3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
quite outstanding considering i got this for 70 cents at the supermarket, and a 13 percent tripel does not sound too promising... hoppy and fruity, but not to sweet, alcohol quite well hidden

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
33 cl bottle. Pale golden topped by a huge thick head. Very light dusty aroma. Black pepper and a light pale malt aroma.. Very lean smelling. Flavour is quite alcoholic. Some peppery flavour and a light spiciness. Very faint peach and pear. As it warms a bit, the beer becomes much more balanced and tasty. Pale malt sweetness and very light peach… the pepper is still there, but it is pretty well-integrated.

Bottled from AH in Mestreech. Hazy light yellow color, with average but vy bubbly fluffy head. nose is yeast. Aroms is fruits some hops and yeasr. Flavour is dominated by yeast, cereals and alcohol. It is not that well composed as their Bruin. Carbonation is a bit too high and makes yeast coming through stronger.

Kasteel Triple. Gold with an orange hue, and a large head that quickly dissipates. Strong triple flavor, with hops and too much alcohol flavor, and the peppery aftertaste at first

Not bad for a lighter Belgian Ale. I really want to try the "brown" version as I prefer darker ales. Too much head, and slight alcohol after taste. Smooth for a triple with slight sweet taste at first. Nice, but have had better.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at The Front Door: Bright gold pour, thick white head, and sticky lacing. Aroma is moist with fruitiness. Lots of citrus and apple. Bits of spice and yeast. Flavor is again fruity. Sort of like a gallon of apple juice was tossed into a barrel... The fruitiness overwhelms the spice and detracts from the overall flavor profile.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Clear golden beer with a huge frothy white head that diminishes slowly. Fruity aroma with some yeast, light hoppy notes, citrus hints and spice (some pepper in there). Flavor is slightly sweetish at first with light bready notes, later gets drier with some yeast and fruits, and finishes with rather bitter spicy hops and some alcohol. Medium-bodied. Not too bad, just nothing exciting and a bit too alcoholic.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a big foamy head with good retention and good lacing. Aroma consists of alcohol ester with some slightly cloying sweet malt. Taste is also dominated by some sweet malt with some distinctive notes of alcohol. Full body with great carbonation but alcohol is too apparent. Definitely lacking subtleties that I would usually expect from a Tripel and too cloying to be a regular beer for me.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
750 ml corked and caged green bottle poured a clear golden yellow with a small lasting white head. Aromas of bread, yeast, pear, pineapple and light spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw, yeast, pear, pineapple and spice with a crisp lingering spicey sweet finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very dark brown body with tan head. Smell of very sweet malts, fermenting raisins and prunes. Taste is full of raisin, fig, and candied surgar, all a bit too sweet in my opinion. A hint of spices as well. Bubbly on the palate, medium fill. I could drink this again for sure, but it will never quite be a favorite.
