A tripel, as solid as a castle. A full bodied beer, brewed with Belgian hops, to enjoy quietly, with a powerful, distinctive flavour: flowery, hop bitterness and soft alcohol.

Ingredients: water, barley malt, corn, sugar, hops, yeast, antioxidant (ascorbic acid).

Slightly hazy yellow beer with good white head. Taste is strong, alcohol and caramel, nothing special. Body is full what makes this beer ok. But is way less than the dark kasteelbier.

Dark orange color with a fine white head. Sweet aroma. Taste of candy sugar and spices. Very strong in alcohol, burn all the way down.

Blonde beer, little head. Some citrus in the aroma. Slightly sweet. Hides the alcohol well, I wouldn’t be able to tell this was 11% just by drinking

330ml bottle. Clear dark golden colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, white head. Strawy and yeasty aroma with unspecific fruity notes, hints of alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet, strawy, slightly spicy yeasty, unspecific fruity notes, dry hoppy overtones, some alcohol.

A somewhat unique little tripel - citrus and peaches in the flavor - aroma is dominated by alcohol - alcohol is way too present in the flavor, too - out of balance - disappointing but not a terrible experience.

Murky yellow, with big bubbles. Not much head, and it dimishes fairly fast. Carbonation is a little too strong for my taste, and the alcohol is very present, making it less enjoyable. Smells fruity and yeasty, tastes like alcohol and honey.

Pours cloudy gold with a nice lasting head. Aroma is of wheat and lemon with alcohol readily apparent. Decent but not special.

Clear golden coloured body with a super-thin fast dying white head. Aroma of yeast, coriander seed, malt and honey. Effervescent malt with honey, coriander seed, wheat and a small herbal taste. Light-bodied; Aftertaste clean and fresh-some grass and yeast in the palate. Not great nor bad. Overall, a nice trip-definitely good to try! I sampled this 75 cL bottle, purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia by my brother-in-law Andy on 24-December-2004.

Bottle from Auchan, Calais. Golden beer, no head. Nice fruity hoppy nose. Some syrupy sweetness is evident. Extremely carbonated and actually quite hard to swallow due to this. Golden syrup flavours in mouth and then some hop on the end which is both herby and sweet tangerine. Just a tad too strong for me.
