Grainy aroma, some hop spice, grass. Some sharpness to the aroma. Head died quickly, but some sustained carbonation. Flavor was bready, sweet, but also bitter (hay) and late pepper. To be honest I far prefer this to all BMC.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass and hops. Semi bitter finish.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Smooth oily palate. Nice.

Better than the average Polish beer--but not terribly distinctive--Kashtelan is a peppier, hoppier, more flavorful lager than its competitors. Worth drinking but not worth seeking out (Malbork)

Body is nice, colour of light amber, firm head, a little too bubbly but making good impression in general, white. Aroma of gentle, aromatic hops. Flavour is under an influence of hops (aromatic), truffle notes, mixed with more gentle background maltyness. Carbonation seems too strong, and beer generally is a bit too watery, but positive, clean refreshing and deserving being a premium Lager type.

Can. Clear, golden pour with a white head. A bit sweet, grainy aroma and flavor. Some bitterness in the flavor. Quite sweetish finish as well, along with some bittering hops. Thin and refreshing beer, but not too good. (070731)

can. Golden yellow, large and persistent head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, malty, slightly sweet character. Low carboination. Only hoppy in the finish and aftertaste.
