3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Medium amber color. Aroma is predominantly caramel malt but also has some floral hop notes. Flavor is slightly malty with a nice balance of citrusy and floral hop notes. Light/medium bodied with a fairly smooth mouthfeel. Very sessionable IPA.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Wow! Tropical mango and orange aromas with a hint of pine. Malty sweet up front but agressively hoppy. This could stand with some other big name west coast IPAs.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at the brewpub, 20/08/12. Sweet, peachy, slightly chloropyll-laden aroma; tomato vine, guava nectar. Soapy tropical flavour, bitter without purpose. Would prefer a tweak of softening malt.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 7/14/12
Aroma: This brew has a mostly citrus hop nose to it
Appearance: It pours a clear orange color with a white head and medium lace
Flavor: The flavor has some nice bitterness, with citrus, and a decent resin quality
Palate: This beer is medium-plus bodied with a smooth and creamy feel to it
Iím in favor of a new brewpub having multiple IPAs on at the same time, and Iím adding this rating on IPA Day, which is just a plus! As for the beer, it tastes less dry then Capt. Cook, but still has a nice bitterness. This one was also a very solid IPA, and my preference of the 2 Kauai Island IPAs.
