IPAs are our favorite beer style, so this recipe may change depending on how the brewers feeling on the brew day.

Fruity nose...toasty...has some orchard fruit notes. Basic. Maybe a touch yeasty. Lots if bitterness in the finish.

On tap @ the brewpub in Port Allen, Kauai, Hawaii. Cloudy orange tinted gold. Aroma of cotton candy, orange peel, light florals. Tropical fruit hop character, light powdery candy, long bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Another solid IPA from these guys, but I prefer the Captain Cook.

Medium amber color. Aroma is predominantly caramel malt but also has some floral hop notes. Flavor is slightly malty with a nice balance of citrusy and floral hop notes. Light/medium bodied with a fairly smooth mouthfeel. Very sessionable IPA.

Wow! Tropical mango and orange aromas with a hint of pine. Malty sweet up front but agressively hoppy. This could stand with some other big name west coast IPAs.

DruncanVeasey (7309) - NUNEATON, Top 23, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2012
Tap at the brewpub, 20/08/12. Sweet, peachy, slightly chloropyll-laden aroma; tomato vine, guava nectar. Soapy tropical flavour, bitter without purpose. Would prefer a tweak of softening malt.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 7/14/12

Aroma: This brew has a mostly citrus hop nose to it
Appearance: It pours a clear orange color with a white head and medium lace
Flavor: The flavor has some nice bitterness, with citrus, and a decent resin quality
Palate: This beer is medium-plus bodied with a smooth and creamy feel to it
Overall Impression: Im in favor of a new brewpub having multiple IPAs on at the same time, and Im adding this rating on IPA Day, which is just a plus! As for the beer, it tastes less dry then Capt. Cook, but still has a nice bitterness. This one was also a very solid IPA, and my preference of the 2 Kauai Island IPAs.
