Brewed with equal amounts of malted barley and wheat, we’ve taken this traditional American-style recipe and added just a touch of caramel malt for color and body. Tap at the brewpub, 20/08/12. Mid-hazy yellow gold with a little band of head. Old ladies’ hand lotion (Oil of Ulay), slight beach mat aroma. Thin, stale sherbet lemon flavour with a crumb of lemon puff biscuit on the end. Insipid in the US style. Stick with a growler of the Pakala and The Captain.
