Pours clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of hay, malt and fruitiness. Flavor is malty and sweet.

50cl bottle, BB 06/2011. Poured golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet malty, corn and herbal notes. Flavor is sweet malt,slightly bready and finish has some metal notes. Perhaps abit on the old side, a slight disappointment.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass and hops.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de, as KAufbeuren Allgäu Premium Bayerisch Export, 5.2%). Golden colour, big creamy white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is mild fruityness, grassyness as well as some slight sweet malts. Flavour is quite sweet malty along with some saltwatery, caramelly and mild grassy notes in the finish. Quite sweet aftertaste, even though the bitterness balances it up a bit.

Bügelverschlußflasche: The bottle looks good, because there’s a picture of the Neuschwanstein castle on the label..... Pale greenish-golden, small white head, a bit hazy, light to moderate grainy-strawy nose with a good dash of honey; sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, soft; short sweet bitter finish.
