Aroma: The nose is heavy lemon/wheat, banana, some other fruity notes, and a little spice
Appearance: This one pours a hazy golden color with a white head and some drippy lace on the glass
Flavor: The taste is pretty similar to the nose, mid-sweet, yeasty and wheaty, with a bit of spice as well
Palate: The mouthfeel of this beer is decent and fairly on-style, with some average carbonation
Overall Impression:
I wasn’t really impressed or unimpressed by this beer. It feels pretty on style and it drinks fine. That’s really all there is to say about this one.

Aroma has ripe banana, some yeast and hints of spices. Foamy palate. Flavour has citrus, some banana esthers, yeasty notes. Somewhat sticky finish and a ’slimy’ feeling. Decent.

500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with small to average, frothy, white head. Wheaty, fruity, minimally yeasty aroma has notes of banana. Taste is wheaty and moderately fruity, hints of banana, minimally dry finish; slightly flat carbonated.

Wheat, fruits, yeast and grain in aroma. Mild tartness too.
Flavour is very wheaty and dry. Some yeast and grainy malt there too.

Tap in a bar in Kaufbeuren 16/07/12 (can’t remember name) between town centre and DB station - Aktien tap on Kaiser Max Strasse which we went to appeared to have burnt down!
Hazy golden orange with a big dollop of white head.
Wheat, yeast and bready nose, not too much fruit.
Sweet tasting, caramel, banana and clove come into play allied to the yeast and wheat.
Medium bodied relatively sweet tasting hefeweizen.

wirled the bottle to make sure I got a taste of the yeast sediment, and this is till a weak tasting weizen. While gorgeous in the glass, pours with a hiss as the head foams and leaves a creamy coating, and cloudy, hazy beige/golden color, so cloudy you can’t see the carbonation. The taste is flat, compared to similar weizens already downed, none of the famous weizen flavors coming through. Creamy, slick mouthfeel leaves empty taste, like there should be something there, but is missing.... In substance a weizen, in flavor, a miss...
