Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101009]

Bottled. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The flavor has notes of malt and some straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear yellow with a rough white head. Clean malty nose. Medium body, sweet malts and a very discreet bitterness. 100709

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and cornish. Medium dry malt flavoured, light crisp bitterness. Ends medium dry and refreshing.

Blond color. Anonymous Lager, dry, correctly bitter, but without any interest.

This is no Kolsch, nor does it ever pretend to be. I’m not sure where that came from. It is a hell, simple and plain. I mean that quite literally, this walks right down the middle for the style - a little malt, but not too much; a touch of dryness, but only a touch. Lacking in assertiveness, this would be okay as a quick pint after work, but not much else.

(500ml bottle) Crystal clear straw body with medium white head. Aroma is medium sweet, cookie dough, some floral, fruity. Taste is medium sweet, bread, some floral, fruity, light herbal/grassy. Watery light body, some crispness. Not bad, just generic.

Pours pale golden with a small, fizzy, white head that soon disappears. Aroma is grassy, some sweet bready malts. Light citric. Medium carbonation, rather fat and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, bready malts, fine grassy bitterness. Light, lingering citric zest and fine dryness. A good bottled Helles.
