The aroma is dusty, with caramel and paper. The appearance is pale gold with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma with a lightly bitter finish. The palate is thin. This is not what a special beer should be. It’s mostly average and unremarkable.

From the bottle pours a dusty gold color, very clear, with a soft white head. The malts give a lot of honey sweetness in the flavor and aroma. Light clove quality to the nose and finish from the yeast. Carbonation is light, but strong enough to break up the maltiness of this beer a bit. Finish has a light dose of hops but enough to clean the palate from the honey taste. Nice drinkable brew, could use a touch more hops to counter the sweetness more.

(50cl bottle) Crystal clear pale straw body topped by large head. Aroma is medium sweet, grain/cereal, light floral. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, sugar/honey, some herb, light earthy/grassy, faint alcohol. Watery medium body, light stickiness. Too sweet for my liking.

From a 500 ml. euro bottle with unnotched freshness date on the back label. Poured a cloudy golden hued copper with a small foamy white head that settled into a fine lacing. Aromas of honey bready with a light toffee and floral hops, also a subtle spicy grassiness deep in the background. Good moderate carbonation and a softly crisp, smooth medium-full bodied mouthfeel. Tastes of a lemon honey, light toffee, a grassy grain breadiness towards the middle, softly spicy hops, and a crisp, sweet malty finish. Different, not bad, easy drinkability, but a seasonal I would only drink one day a year.

Poured a sparkling golden color, nice initial white head, weak retention, absolutely no lacing, all pilsner looking. The aroma was grass and honey, some dms/sulfur aspects. The flavor was pilsner-like, with maybe a bit more malt to back up the whole beer. Just not that impressive, far off from a traditional festbier. The mouthfeel was significantly carbonated, malty.

Slight-hazed yellow body with particulate in suspension under a fast and soapy white head. Sharp, grassy hops reek of metal. Additional vegetal notes with butterscotch candy. Flavor finds a fruity, candy sweetness with a Cholraseptic punch. Dead mouthfeel with a numbing menthol finish. The description above calls this a "stunning brew", and I must admit that I am a bit stunned. Huh.

(Inconsistencies may be attributable to oxidation, but my "Best before" date didn’t seem to get printed, nor did the hind label get notched . SO, I can only guess that the brewer didn’t care when this got consumed.)

Bottle from Beer World of Largo <P> Aroma is malty/honey sweet with little else. Light yellow/gold with a lasting, two finger thic, white head. Wheaty/bready fore with mild honey and malt notes in the middle. Very low key flavor with a watery finish and a decided lack of flavor intensity.

Bottled. Clear, bright yellow. Aroma reeked of DMS. Vegetal quality to the flavor as well. Light maltiness with a quickly fading finish.

First aroma whiff and you get a blast of candy corn overwhelming you. Not a very strong start and it doesn’t get much better from there. Malty sweet, slight bitterness, soft mouthfeel. Overall a somewhat humdrum beer, neither really good nor really bad.

Bottle purchased at World of Beer in Clearwater, FL. White small fizzy head that mostly diminished with sparse lacing, carbonated, transparent, and a pale yellow hue. Nose was malty, sweet and fruity. Sweet, bitter, malty flavor. Fairly smooth mouthfeel. Light-medium body.
