UPDATED: FEB 7, 2013 Dark brown colour with creamy head. Taste of malt, nuts, grains. Hints of roast aromas and sweetness. Nice one.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Clear ruby-brown in colour with low head and medium body. Taste of rich malt, roasted nuts, almonds, rum currants and dark grains. Quite easy to drink and quaffable. Maybe not the best Dunkel in the world but it is okay.

The head is ok, the body dark, a bit red. It smells roasty, malty. The taste is a bit light, roasty, sweet, a bit malty, a bit watery, sweet, ok. 11/10/11/10/11/10

Pours clear and golden deep amber with a lacing white head. Breadish and caramel malty aroma.

Bottle. Clear amber brown with a thin head. Aroma is caramel and herb. Flavour is spicy plum with caramel and dry lightly bitter finish

500ml bottle. Clear red glowing dark brown with small collapsing frothy off-white head. Decent slightly sweet dark malty aroma. Slightly sweet dark malty taste, minimally dry roasty note. Totally lackadaisical and powerless brew.

Yet another from this seemingly prodcutive brewery in Bavaria. A decent example of a German Dunkel, the right notes of toasted grain and deep, dark brown color. Nothing stands out, but not disappointing either. Picked up in a Bavarian six pack from Edeka....

color marron con espuma blanca ligera y poco persistente. Carbonatacion media baja. Aroma bastante neutro con notas a maltas caramelizadas y ligeramente dulce. Sabor muy parecido al aroma.

Bottle from La Cerveteca, Barcelona. Clear brown pour, almost no head. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, smoke and spices. Flavor is quite sweet malty, spicy and with wood and some smoke. Watery texture, low carbonation.
