Can in Sofia, purchased at a Kaufland in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. Pours perfectly clear gold with a fine, creamy white head. Cereal malt nose, hints of sugary corn. Light to medium sweet flavor with sugary, lightly syrupy corn, cereal, hay. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet, syrupy and sticky finish, lots of low quality cereal malts, almost no bitterness, some sweet berry notes, sugary bread. Not undrinkable but this is certainly a special kind of tramp sauce.

Both "Kaufland Ambrosius Gold ’ beers, brewery Van Pur and Brewery Kiper hardly differ from each other. Yellow colouring with a small head which doesn’t last very long. Watery, bland, mild, bitter, fizzy flavour. Bad
Earlier Rating: 6/3/2012 Total Score: 1.2
No flavor at all and very little color. Water was much more enjoyable. Not recommended at all.

Canned 500ml. -from local Kaufland Supermarket. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild flowery cardboard nose. Sweetish malty, light flowery and mild metallic with hint of green apple in the finish. Cheap and let’s say moderate drinkable.

Bottle 50cl.
Clear light yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, apple. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090625]

Bottle, 4.0%. Grainy aroma. Clear yellow colour. Frothy white head. The flavour starts off caramelly, but turns out to be thin and grainy.

Bottle brown, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours nice golden body, not perfectly clear in texture, saturation is moderately, carbonation is rather low. Head is initially medium quickly decreasing to small froth. Head colour is white and is foamy in texture. There is no lacing.
Aroma: Generally sweet with a considerably high amount of white sugar, fruity aroma is easibly recognisable especially peach, kind of skunky grassy hoppyness, gentle alcoholic note. Not very pleasant and kind of artificial, not inviting aroma.
Flavour: Kind of rusty, metallic and a bit dull front, gently accidic, notes of barley and kind of fruity, peachy nose, rather simple and not sophisticated flat taste but without any negative aspects. Finish duration is shart.
Palate: Body is light, carbonation on palate is quite lively. Finish feel is sour, gently astringent, gently alcoholic, mineral and generally rather flat. Rough on palate.
