Bottle 500 ml at home, into a Guinness glass, ABV 4.9% Clear and deep golden yellow colour on the body with two fingers of white head. Good density and average retention, although half a finger of foam persists for quite long. Light lacing on the glass. Aroma of malts and fresh cut hay, some grass too. Good taste, malts, bread, hay, tastes quite fresh and clean. Medium thin body, average carbonation. Overall a good beer.

(bottle) pours a hazy deep golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of pale malts, cinnamon and yeast, slightly husky, with a hint of marzipan and earth. flavour is mostly grainy pale malts and white bread, slightly yeasty, with notes of herbal hops and poppy seeds in the finish. medium-bodied with average cabonation.

50cl bottle, bb 17.11.13. Slightly hazy, golden with a thin white head. Lots of bubbles. Ryebread, herbal, yeasty aroma, not your typical kellerbier for sure. Watery palate. Flavor has bread, malt, yeast. Strong malty taste, high carbonation. Drinkable.

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, light caramel and light bread, faint grassy hoppyness. Light to moderate, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel and light bread with light hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light bread and light grassy hoppyness. Lightly sweetish kellerbier with light caramel - OK but nothing special.

As this is unfiltered, make sure to give the bottle a swirl before you reach the end, to stir up the yeast and sediments. Pours a cloudy golden with foamy head. Aroma is mostly malt with some citrus. Taste is smooth, mouthfeel medium weight and little lingering on the palate. A very good example of the style.

16/04 A 0.5 l bottle Marko brought from Hessen, thanks! It poured hazy golden body with medium sized head. Cabbage and various cooked vegetable aroma. Somewhat grainy beneath. Flavor was slightly sweet, pleasantly malty like honey or even brown sugar, yet with slight cabbage note. Some lemon hops present as well. Medium bodied with pleasant, long malty finish along with slight lemony acidity. Decent, wasn’t such a failure as it seemed it would be.
