As this is unfiltered, make sure to give the bottle a swirl before you reach the end, to stir up the yeast and sediments. Pours a cloudy golden with foamy head. Aroma is mostly malt with some citrus. Taste is smooth, mouthfeel medium weight and little lingering on the palate. A very good example of the style.

16/04 A 0.5 l bottle Marko brought from Hessen, thanks! It poured hazy golden body with medium sized head. Cabbage and various cooked vegetable aroma. Somewhat grainy beneath. Flavor was slightly sweet, pleasantly malty like honey or even brown sugar, yet with slight cabbage note. Some lemon hops present as well. Medium bodied with pleasant, long malty finish along with slight lemony acidity. Decent, wasn’t such a failure as it seemed it would be.

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and heavy. Orange/golden coloured, medium sized creamy white head, mild malty grainy nose. Sweet malty, light grainy and discreet herbal notes with dry bitterish finish. Average.

Maybe the last beer from my Marburg trip stash. Bought in Würzburg though. Poured a misty golden body with a lasting white head. Stale malty-yeasty nose, quite worty too. Somewhat pleasant light malty taste, one dimensional, slightly herbal, very very very light bitterness, some grain maybe. All in all, a solid beer, maybe slightly above average for the "region", but still not too thrilling.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Intetesting due to its uncommon hoppish aroma and taste. Other kellerbiers seem to be dull but this one is more fruity and refreshing. Very nice one.

Milky brown-amber in colour with steady head and smooth body for the looks. Aroma of nothing special, but big taste. Taste of spicy hops, pepper, coriander greens and blood orange peel. Surprisingly IPAish and not like a "typical" Kellerbier.

#1356 Hefig-fruchtiges Aroma. Malzig-hefig im frischen Antrunk. Toffee, Karamell, aber auch dezente Getreidenoten im Geschmack. Bittert angenehm nach. Sehr gutes Kellerbier!

Bottled, from biershop-bayern.de Hazy deep golden, mid-sized head. Spicy nose with some summer flowers. Dry with medium body and roiunded mouthfeel. Firm, slightly bready malt. Mild grassy spicy bitterness.

Hazy golden colour with an fine beige head. Malty aroma. Good caramel flavor.
