It’s light-golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma is aromatic, flowery, hoppy (but not as much as in Käuzle ) and malty. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, light flower, hops and the finish is dry and slightly bitter. It’s a subdued variation of Käuzle, at least IMO.

Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of pivnizub. It pours a clear pale yellow beer with a nicely remaining lacing white head. Lovely earthy, herbal aroma hops in the nose. Baguette sneaking. Flawless pale malt back. Slightly flat palate and faintly sour. Otherwise a tasty beer. My kind of pils. Thanks a lot pivnizub!

The bottle looks good. The beer in the glass is not very zippy, not much foam. Aroma wheaty, a little bit like bread. Tastes spicy, not very hoppy, also notes of wheat. A little sourish moment in the finish. Drinkable pilsner!

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy white foamy head. Moderately sweet and malty aroma with distinctive citrus-fruity (mandarins) notes and a herbal hoppy touch. Moderately bitter flavour, soft malty body with an aromatic citrusy and herbal hops character; light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Dry and moderately bitter finish with once again fruity and herbal hoppy accents. Aromatic, decent Pilsener (16.06.08).

Sampled in Trier, Germany: Aroma is slightly of spicy hops, and light malts. Pours translucent gold with a big white head, that laces very nicely. Flavor is nicely balanced but not as hoppy and dry as a bitburger. Not great, but how can you not like German pils.

Draught. Clear golden colour with a medium creamy white head. Standard german pilsener with a slightly hoppy finish.

Bottle. Clear gold with a white head. Aromas are butter and grain malts with grassy, peppery hops with some herbal notes. Flavours are sweet biscuit malts with some sweet lemon. Sweet hay with resinous hops. Dry and quite herbal on the finish. Decent.

Bottled. A pale straw coloured lager with a nice white head. The aroma is malty and a little buttery. Some grassy lager hops in there also. The taste is real nice and crisp. A good balance of malt and hop and a really smooth drinkability. Very good indeed.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a delicious, creamy and very white head that laces my glass. Pronounced soft malt-sweetness with only a discreet bitterness. Typical, pleasant Southern German pilsener. 220605
