Commercial Description:
This beer was brewed under our strict quality guidelines with choice ingredients. Our water comes from our own spring, the malt from German fields/cultivation, the yeast from our control (? brewery's strain - German word is Herfuehrung) and hops from the Haller valley (Hallertau). (Note - translation by shrubber85 - I did my best)

Bottle. Cloudy gold with a large white head. Aromas are banana and cream with hints of vanilla. Soft citrus with yeast. Flavours are sweet wheat malts with caramel. Creamy with banana and yeast. Spicy towards the finish. Refreshing. Soft yet refreshing.

(bottle) Hazy, orange golden colour with a medium-sized frothy white head. Dusty, sweet and slightly grainy wheaty aroma with notes of apricot, citrus and light touch of cloves. Sweet and sourish flavour; distinctively apricot-fruity and moderately wheaty taste; light to medium bodied with a spritzy mouthfeel; apricot-fruity finish with a tinge of cloves and vanilla in the aftertaste. Good (29.06.08).

Medium, fine & dense white head over heavy golden beer with apricot shine. Glue, solvent (or: fusels), esters with especially bananaester. Definitely a lot of chipboard. Taste has again quite a bit of solvent, further fruity esters as banana/orange, but ending on meaty, near smoked esters. In fact, it is what winetasters would call "meaty" - if it had some more beef to its bones. Retronasal a little aroma/flavour of lilies. Quite slick, but also quite thin. Slickness & good carbonation even downplay the thinnish MF. I’m sorry, but I cannot be as jubilant as the other tasters. Boring. Kauzen makes some good brews - but others. Thanks to Ann and her crew!

Bottle, 5.0%. OK banana aroma. Hazy yellow colour, OK white head. The flavour is a little sweet with some banana. Gets a little citric at the end. Good example of a flavourful Hefeweizen.

Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow colour with a large white head. Aroma of banana, cloves and other spices. Quite highly carbonated, but doesn’t really distract too much; flavours as the aroma, plus some malt and wheat. Foamy medium mouthfeel. A very good Weizen.
