Brown color. Medium sweet. Creamy texture. Medium-full body. Light sour, astringent finish.

50 cl bottle. Rated on 30.03.2010<br/ > Opaque and brown, small-bubbled head. Aroma is thin and stale with ripe banana and wheat typical to a weissbier. Foamy palate. Flavour is slightly sour, acidic and a bit thin with ripe banana and wheat. Decent.

Dark brown colored with hazy appearance. Vanishing yellow head. Sweet aroma with chocolate and some licorice, some grassy hops and thin alcohol also here. Medium bodied, smooth palate. Flavor is also sweet with licorice and yeasty spiciness, thin hops make nice balance here. Aftertaste is hopped with some yeast still.

Clear medium to dark brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light roasted, moderate yeasty, banana, sweet banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sugar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100703]

Bottled@PBF2010. Hazy brown colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, some wheat, and quite interesting. Flavour is quite much the same. Wheat, spices and sweetness dominating.

Dark murky hazy nut brown color, small head. Banana in the nose, sahti-like. Active carbonation. Banana, candy, some spice on the flavor. Flavor is also a bit sahti-like.

0.5 l bottle. Hazy dark mahagony color. Sweet, nutty, clovey and peppery aroma with ripe banana. Thick sweet flavor with nuts, pepper, clove, plum, raisins and ripe banana. Full bodied, warming and somewhat gassy. Firm yet balanced taste.

Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of Moritz. Very nice appearance. A lot of plum, caramel and banana showing up in both nose and taste. Strong carbonation. Faintly acidic and perhaps too heavily yeast accentuated but still flawlessly brewed. True to the style. I am not a big fan of Weizen Bock; remarkably impressive in any case. A great example. Big thanks to MoritzF for this one. The bottle looks really good, also the beer in the glass. Starts heavy-malty, fruity-yeasty, quite strong, some roasty notes. Fruity like plum. The finish a bit sourish-woody, that makes the beer interesting. Really good!

bottle, mit Dank an MoritzF! Hazy deep dark brown colour with a large off-white head. Malty-wheaty-yeasty nose, typical for the style. Full-bodied with a nice malt character, hints of wheat, yeast, chocolate, caramel and raisins. Delicious!
