2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from some shop in Tbilisi. Mine’s label says 4.4% but I can’t figure out what else it could be. Anyway. Pale golden colour, head white and small. Nose sugary and malty, some honey notes. Taste also malt-driven, moderately sweet with basically no bitterness whatsoever, except for a tiny herbal tingle in the finish. Carbonation active, body light to medium, palate grainy and less watery than - I can now say - the usual Georgian macro lager. Among the least terrible Georgian beers I’ve had. It’s ok for what it is.

I’ve tried few georgian beers, and this one is the best. Malt sweetness in aroma and taste. Alcoholic notes. Not too bitter. Quite smooth.

50cl bottle at Cafe 5042m, Kazbegi. Clear pale golden with minimal white head. Mild malty aroma with some fruity notes, hints of cooked vegetables and hops. Moderate sweet with a fairly decent bitterness. Nice enough enjoying outside on terrace looking up at Mount Kazbek. Tried it fresh at the brewery tap in Tbilisi too and it was much better there, really refreshing!

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
500 ml bottle in Iraq. Pours a pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma is malt, sweet wet cardboard and stale bread. Taste is pretty much like the aroma with somemore sweetness to it. This is pretty sweet for a Pale Lager. Palate is smooth. A below average but drinkable beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught, medium stable creamy head, clear golden colour, herbal aroma with some light malty touches, strong herbal bitterness with some notes of honey, light bitter sour aftertaste. Pleasant beer with the hops coming through nicely. The best beer on my trip to Georgia.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Zunehmend bitterer Nachgeschmack.
Danke an den Doppelbock!

From bottle and draft. Golden color, some grassy aroma. I found more hops in taste than in Natahkatari. Drinkable.

09/04 0.5 l can courtesy of Doggythedog, great thanks for sharing! New country counts... It poured slightly hazy golden body with medium sized head. Some stale malt aroma, grainy as well, a bit of veggies, cardboard. That dry cardboard is also notable in flavor, with stale flowery malt and vegetable near the end. Not particularly watery, which only adds to its finish length, which is not too pleasant anyway. Didn’t like it.
