COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Resignation Recipe Brewed In Collaboration with Redhook. A toast lager with notes of chocolate and coffee. Unlike a heavy porter or a stout it’s amazingly light, crispy, and sessionable. KCCO Black is a delicious misfit.

Dark body, feint head. The aroma is indeed a toasty roastyness, with a touch of barley flake and perhaps some rough coffee bean notes. The body is toasty and smooth, with some coffee bean character and touch of vegetal. Solid, easy-drinking stuff overall.

Deep clear brown colour, aroma is fairly light with a slight nuttiness. Taste is of toasted nuts, with a savoury sweet finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours dark brown with an average tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and light roast. Flavor of chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, light caramel and had some nuttiness.

355ml bottle pours a deep amber, almost black color with a finger and a half of off-white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is coffee, roasted grains and chocolate. Taste is a chocolate malty sweetness with a roasted grain and coffee bitterness. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, this is a pleasant dark lager that is well balanced and has above average taste for the style.

"Clear dark brown color with ruby highlights and a smallish off white head that dissipates quickly. Caramel malt with a hint of chocolate and bread makes up the majority of the aroma. The flavor is what I expected from the aroma. Toasted bread and light caramel and chocolate. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick smooth mouthfeel. Decent beer but a bit watery and flavors dont really stand out.

Light brown pour with off white head and lace. Aroma is light chocolate with a touch or toffee. Flavor is light sweet chocolate with a touch of codes. A bit of roasted malt as well. A bit watery and thin but pretty good.

This is a unique beer. Interesting light and crisp mix of Porter, stout, lager.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated semi-opaque dark ruby red brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was mild hop. The semi-flat crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium dark malt aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of semi-sweet black malt mild lager and bread dough. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.
