3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma of pine, slight grapefruit and a big malty caramel. Pours deep orange with a huge fluffy head. Tastes bitter with a grassy hop with hints of floral and a big malt in front. Not very pleasant.

[4019-20111002] 355mL bottle. Light hoppy leaf aroma has a funny herb tinge. Hazy, dark amber brown body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. More leafy hops in the flavour with a quick bitter bite and no lasting impression. Medium body. Average. (7-/3/6/3/13) 3.2

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep opaque brown with an inch of off-white head (way darker than your average IPA). Aroma is piney and resinous with some oxidized malts. Taste is off with some english yeast and lots of water. Not sure what to make of this overall. $2

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 8/20
This ipa pours a crystal clear copper color with a frothy pale tan head. The taste is clean, slightly bitter with a touch of hop resin a few drinks into the beer. The carbonation begins light then sparkles the tongue with lively little bubbles. Definately a beer to try.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2011-10-02. Hazy orange amber, small off-white head. 3+ Mild aroma, green leafy hops and mild toasty caramel malt, muted citrus. 6+ Flavour has a pleasant mild bitterness throughout, modest green leafy hops, modest resin, malt profile suggests that it might be showing some slight oxidation. Average plus bodied palate. Enjoyable but just okay. Bottle from Premier Gourmet, Buffalo

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Better than my first offering from Keegans which was the Milk Stout. This one had a very inviting red amber pour with a creamy lacing head that capped the beer through out. The aroma is nicely hoppy with pine above a malt backbone. The flavor follows the aroma in reverse. The malt is sweet up front followed by a nice dry hop finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle from EZ. Pours a red/amber with a huge frothy off white head. Aroma and flavor seem more like an amber than an IPA. Notes of metal, peanut shells, caramel, toffee, dry toast, green veggies. Fuller bodied almost chewy with soft to average carbonation. This is an IPA, really??
