leitrim65 (396), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 10, 2006 Pours a hazy dark copper color, with a large beige head that eventually disipates. Nice sweet caramel in the nose, along with elements of bread and earthy hops. Medium bodied and creamy. Caramel malt flavorings quickly give in to earthy hops. Easy drinking and quite good.
malrubius (425), USA Aug 25, 2008 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Hazy copper with lasting head and some lace. Mild hop and toasted caramel aroma. Medium toasted caramel apple with medium bitter bite and fairly clean finish. Medium body and carbo. Ok. tgncc (247), Bellmore, New York, USA Aug 24, 2008 This is a pretty unique IPA. The appearance is indeed copper, with an off white head, and noticeable particulate matter. The aroma is very slight, a piney sort of hop scent. The flavor is as least as malty as hoppy. It has notes of caramel, citrus. The palate has a faint yet pleasing hop bitterness. There is also a wierd and inexplicable metallic taste to this beer. Not bad, easy to drink, but not remarkable. SuzyGreenberg (934), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 31, 2008 draft @ brewery - a very strange IPA; dark amber and malty; hops are very muted; some sweet caramel in there; dry finish; might be the least hoppy IPA i’ve ever had jcwattsrugger (3942), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 8, 2008 @Ginger Man-on tap-pours a rich off white head and gold/amber color. Aroma is sweet citrus hops-some bitterness, secondary medium malt. Taste is sweet citrus hops-some bitterness, secondary medium malt. Nice. Mild carbonation.
Tilley4 (218), Huron, Tennessee, USA Apr 3, 2008 Not a big fan of this brew... Looks ok, but has loads of sediment... Nothing offensive about the odor but there’s not much of one. Extremely bitter taste and I’m not sure its from the hops... Down the drain with this one...
