3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Watery pour to a deep, translucent midnight brown color and a creamy, thick tan wrung and crater sheaf for the head. Aroma is boisterous: black patent, dark chocolate, mild black licorice, espresso grinds and moderate milky mocha coolers. Itís a rich, dark display. Dry dark chocolate flavors crumble in the mouth with a force possessed by espresso and hammered mocha beans. Room temperature french roast and course coffee grinds. Burnt licorice root and scorched pumpernickel toast. Overcarbonated, spawning belchy quaffs, and itís quite distracting. Bitter sway is emphasized and encouraged by the roasted barley and black patent. Rye party loaves forgotten in an unflinching broiler projects in the finish, chased with dark chocolate slab shavings and enhanced espresso grinds. Thanks for the bottle, tpkenned!

Aroma is roasted malts, coffee and chocolate along with a slightly dusty cotton aroma. Body is flat black with a creamy, two finger thick, mocha head that diminshes slowly. Some roasted bitterness in the fore followed by sweet and creamy milk laded coffee, milk chocolate and more bitterness through the middle. and lingering into the finish. Finish is dry, but tart and bitter as well. Has some decent elelments, but never really wows.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Beer pours opaque black with a dark tan/light brown head. The head turns to lacing quickly but the lacing stays for a while. The aroma is present, roasty coffe, cream and a piney hop in the background. The taste is also roasty and the ony lactose I can detect is a faint chocolate- millk like aftertaste. Medium body, slight bitterness. A very nice stout.

12oz bottle via trade with beastiefan2k - Thanks Eugene! - Pours black with a nice creamy tan head that stayed pretty well. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, and a touch of molasses. Flavor is roasty, coffee, roasted malts, a touch of chocolate, a little oatmeal. Body is medium and creamy with a nice dry roasted finish. Not bad at all.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Dark black, roasty and coffee aroma. Full, roast and coffee satisfying drink. Milk, some chocolate in finish. And I do not order coffee any longer. Very good stout in all respects. Thanks to the recommendation of the owner of Cable Beverages.

Lactose-filled nose: ever-so-slightly malty and the oatmeal is pretty obvious. Only hints of sweetness, and a pleasant, dry finish. Very creamy. A nice, simple stout.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Interesting aroma of lactic sweetness, cherries and milk chocolate - quite a creamy mouthfeel, but the body is a little thin to sustain the sensation for too long - cocoa and a mild fruitiness dominate the flavor - a tiny hint of minerals and milk - a decent stout.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very dark brown with ruby highlights. Thick, creamy tan head. Molasses, raisins, and a lactose twang in the aroma. Mellow roastiness, lactose tartness, chocolate, and coffee in the flavor. Mild sweetness rounds out the finish. Very easy to drink, I like it a lot.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a nice midnight black with a modest head and some lace. Aroma is lightly roasty with hints of chocolate and lactose (similar aroma to lots of sweet stouts). Flavor is dry and roasty, low on the caramel malts, wierd lactose sweetness, some chocolate malt and a lightly acrid finish. Moderately smooth. Nice stout overall.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very dark opaque body with medium sized light brown head. Aroma is lightly roasty with a sublte hint of bitter-sweet cocoa. Roasty and bitter, some light coffee, not a whole lot going on. A little dull in my opinion.
