Mother’s Milk, as the name implies, is a dark and creamy milk stout. Hints of oatmeal, chocolate and of course, milk make Mother’s Milk’s remarkably smooth and silky finish a classic example of the style.

Out of a bottle. Pours dark with a thin tan head. Smells sweet with some milky elements. Taste is slightly chocolatey with a relatively sweet finish.

04.23.05 Tap at TAP NY. Black. Low hops on aroma, low hops on palate. Thin and quite dry for a milk stout, especially one brewed with oatmeal. Quite lactic which does add a bit of sweet/tart. Not as sweet or as thick as I was hoping for.

a decent dark stout not to sweet, not to dry. Nice chocolate head, good aroma. A very good but average stout. worth a try.

Black pour with medium tan head. Aroma of malt, chocoff, and some cabernet. Tastes malty, with big chocoff combined with berry elements. Firm, velvety, dense palate. If this stuff came out of my wife’s tits, I’d have her knocked up perpetually.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown color and a medium off white head. Full bodied a good lasting after taste. Strong smells of malts and flavors chocolate and milk. I’m very proud of this brew because finally theirs a good beer that is made near me. A mut try if you have the chance.

Tap @ Ommegang. One of my favorites among a ton of great beers at the Fest. Similar to Left Hand Milk Stout without being as roasty. Mellow milk chocolate and coffee flavors made this baby real drinkable without being too sweet.

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate aroma. Dark brown though not opaque. Ruby tones. Thin diminishing head. Sweet, somewhat cloying chocolate flavour. Slight roastiness in the finish. Medium-full body. A bit one dimensional. On tap at the TapNY festival.
