COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Motherís Milk, as the name implies, is a dark and creamy milk stout. Hints of oatmeal, chocolate and of course, milk make Motherís Milkís remarkably smooth and silky finish a classic example of the style.

Very dark opaque body with medium sized light brown head. Aroma is lightly roasty with a sublte hint of bitter-sweet cocoa. Roasty and bitter, some light coffee, not a whole lot going on. A little dull in my opinion.

thanks to weeare138 for this wonderful beer. poured a black with dark mahogany hues at its edges, with a tan head that left some lacing. aroma chocolate, malts, molasses, sweet, just smells like this will be full body in the mouth. aroma choclate milk, malt got just a hint of oatmeal as it warmed and it does have a nice full mouthfeel. very good.

Coal black, thin tanned creamy head. The aromas on this brew were nice with lots of roasted milk chocolate, mild coffee, and half & half, with lighter notes of toasted vanilla and oatmeal. Roasted milky flavors are encompassed with chocolate, light espresso, and toast, but receive a nice hop bitterness late to counterbalance the sweetness. Medium bodied, fizzy carbonation, roasted coffee and chocolate-like finish. Decent session brew, but nothing spectactular...

Out of a bottle. Pours dark with a thin tan head. Smells sweet with some milky elements. Taste is slightly chocolatey with a relatively sweet finish.

04.23.05 Tap at TAP NY. Black. Low hops on aroma, low hops on palate. Thin and quite dry for a milk stout, especially one brewed with oatmeal. Quite lactic which does add a bit of sweet/tart. Not as sweet or as thick as I was hoping for.

a decent dark stout not to sweet, not to dry. Nice chocolate head, good aroma. A very good but average stout. worth a try.

Black pour with medium tan head. Aroma of malt, chocoff, and some cabernet. Tastes malty, with big chocoff combined with berry elements. Firm, velvety, dense palate. If this stuff came out of my wifeís tits, Iíd have her knocked up perpetually.

Tap @ Ommegang. One of my favorites among a ton of great beers at the Fest. Similar to Left Hand Milk Stout without being as roasty. Mellow milk chocolate and coffee flavors made this baby real drinkable without being too sweet.
