COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Motherís Milk, as the name implies, is a dark and creamy milk stout. Hints of oatmeal, chocolate and of course, milk make Motherís Milkís remarkably smooth and silky finish a classic example of the style.

Drought. Dark brown with small beige foamy head, very little fruity aroma, high carbonation, cherry-caramel taste, average finish. Little weak for a milk stout.

2013-04-30. Black body with a modest brown head. 3++ Aroma is modest, mild dark malt, modest roast and chocolate undertones. 6+ Flavour is pleasant, sweet malty vote with pleasant bitterness. Lingering coffee like roast in the finish and aftertaste. Smooth average plus bodied palate, modest carbonation. Not entirely to my taste. On tap at Liquids and Solids, Lake Placid

(bottle). Pours a brown-black complexion with quickly dissipating head. Well roasted malt flavor. Decent palate. Not bad but not a stand out amongst the class. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Helmers' in Hoboken, NJ. Poured into a narrow pils mug. Dark brown pour with a fine tan head. Lacing is pretty decent Nose is chocolate and roast coffee. Flavor is roasty, coffee, chocolate with a lactose sugary finish. No hop character. The finish starts sweet but ends surprisingly dry. A little thin on the mouthfeel, but not bad. A decent example of the style from a brewery I'd not tried before. ---Rated via Beer Buddy from my iPad.

Various kegs and bottles. Pours jet black with nice brown head. Aromas of chocolate, light coffee, sweet vanilla, and a lactic twang. The flavor is super smooth and full. Chocolate, roasted malts, and a sweet finish make this one a winner. Not super filling like some stouts can be, but just perfect.

A dark brown appearance with some carbonation. Strong coffer and some chocolate aroma. A balance of coffee and beer flavor that ends on the coffee side.

12 oz bottle from Jtclockwork. Thanks. Pours a dark brown color with a small beige head that soon recedes to a fine film. The aroma is roasted grains, blackened barley and burnt toast. The taste, like the aroma, features roasted grains, dark chocolate, and earthy bitter walnuts. The palate is medium and silky smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes long and dry. Overall: Very tasty stout.

12oz bottle. Pours dark brown almost black with a nice tan head/lacing. Aromas of roasted coffee and chocolate. Flavor is really chocolately, sweet, with roasted coffee flavors.

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Nice and drinkable. Very sweet but still maintains some roasty notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great stout! I get oatmeal, milk, bread, and nuts. This is a malt-forward stout. Hops donít really shine, here- and I like it that way. This is good drinking.
