COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mother’s Milk, as the name implies, is a dark and creamy milk stout. Hints of oatmeal, chocolate and of course, milk make Mother’s Milk’s remarkably smooth and silky finish a classic example of the style.

Pours a dark black color with a roasted aroma. Taste is dry and full of nut flavor. Easy drinking stout, a little watery. Overall an okay beer from the eastcoast.

Pours black with barely any head. Slight malty roasted aroma. Taste is really bland with slight bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel is really watery. Might be good for someone who likes light stout. I would never taste again and would not recommend to friends with similar taste.

Black pour with a light tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, and a nice roasted malt character. Flavor is similar but the finish was way too roasty, to the point of bitterness. Everything else about this brew was nice the finish was just a bit abrasive.

A relatively good milk stout. Great palate, with just the right balance. Avg everything else.

Bottle to glass. Aromas of chocolate and malt. Tastes do sweet malt upfront with mocha finish. Slick mouth feel with lively carbonation. Pretty good milk stout.

The beer looks great with a very dark black color, an off brown color foamy head, and good lacing on the glass. The smell is decent with a nice blend of coffee and toasted malts. The beer tastes decent with a milky start and a mild coffee finish to it. The mouthfeel is decent with the beer being well carbonated and the taste leaving you with a coffee taste lingering. Overall, a decent milk stout but nothing that will overwhelm you.

0.355l bottle from Whole Foods, Tribeca. A really deep dark brown one, as good as black in the glass and it has a nice medium sized lingering brown grey head. Smells really nice. Oaty chocolate with some sweet licorice and lots of coffee. Really nice nose. Yeah, there is a good amount of coffee in the taste also. Has this been added coffee perhaps? Good oily on the mouthfeel and average on the carbonation level. Sweet chocolate before it ends with a little bit of blackberry juice and traces of cardboard in the finish. Not bad at all. 20.06.2013
