| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 8, 2009 Bottle (12oz). Pours dark brown with red hues and an average size frothy tan head. Dry aroma of roasted malt, a hint of smoke, some coffee and eggshells (!). Flavour is dry and roasty along with a touch of sourness, a hint of green hops and a bit of coffee. Some lactic notes as well and a roasty bitter finish. Average bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. A decent Stout. Haslinger (644), Syracuse, New York, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2009 On tap at Stout NYC. They called it oatmeal stout. Smelled of malt and cherry. Black, thin tan head. Flavors of fruit, wood, cocoa, spice, cherry cordial, maybe even some hops. Roasted malt in aftertaste. Very drinkable. Good stuff. jasonp (1509), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 27, 2009 12 oz bottle given to me buy a co-worker upon a recent trip to NY. Pours black with light brown head which fades into small bit of beige topping which sticks around. Roasted malts and caramel in the nose. Well-balanced flavor but a tad light overall. Notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, earthy hop character and a caramel sweetness. Not that bold, doesn’t really stand out but all the flavors are consistent and work well together - nothing too burnt or astringent. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A solid session stout. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 14, 2009 Bottle (12oz). Opaque brown-black with a huge fluffy light brown lasting head. Light, soft creamy-chocolate aroma, somewhat floral, grainy - nice, not too sweet. The taste is fairly dry, a little lemony, very light on the roast, probably more light coffee than chocolate to it. Thin body, slightly acidic, mild carbonation, a slightly sour linger ... smells good, otherwise a tad weak. revans (37), Salem, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 31, 2009 Bottle. Drinking this today. So far, so good. Good aroma with chocolate notes. Pours almost black with a good head that stays around. Nice lace. Nice roasty flavor. Finishes a little watery, though. Not a bad milk stout!
