Commercial Description:
Mother’s Milk, as the name implies, is a dark and creamy milk stout. Hints of oatmeal, chocolate and of course, milk make Mother’s Milk’s remarkably smooth and silky finish a classic example of the style.

Pours dark brown from the bottle with a thin tan head. Aroma has chocolate, malt, and a touch of coffee. Smooth texture and enjoyable to drink. Flavor isn’t overpowering and is rather mellow. Alright beer.

bottle poured into a snifter has a brown color and a thin brown head when poured very briskly. aroma has chocolate malt, cookie dough, and cream. mouth feel is light but silky with medium carbonation. flavor has light roasted coffee, bakers chocolate, and bitter touches. lactic level is low for a sweet stout but it is some what creamy and very smooth to drink. overall this was enjoyable.

Had this at house of brew in NYC. Bottle. Poured deep dark brown, with a little head atop. Aromas of roasted malts. Large and lingery dry roast flavor. Had a noticeable microbrew feel to it.

Bottle at house of brews NYC. Pours a dark brown color but some light does pass through when held up to a light. Aroma is sweet and of chocolate like you would imagine. Palate is very smooth and taste is sweet but kind of watered down. Aftertaste is pleasant and smooth. Overall a very average sweet stout- not bad but nothing special.

On tap at Stouts NYC. Dark black pour with a healthy brown head. Sweet roasted aroma and taste. Noticeable chocolate malt flavor with little bitterness. Carbonation is a bit heavy, very prickly (probably the taps fault) but otherwise pretty good.
