COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mother’s Milk, as the name implies, is a dark and creamy milk stout. Hints of oatmeal, chocolate and of course, milk make Mother’s Milk’s remarkably smooth and silky finish a classic example of the style.

Rating #70 for 2012. 7/1/12, 12 oz bottle cold from a tulip glass. Warm aroma of cinnamon and sugar like a freshly baked scone. Opaque nearly black liquid with a 1 inch tan head that quickly fades and leaves tightly bubbled lacing. Taste was sweet and creamy, a well balanced common stout. Palate, starts with a high carbonation mellows to medium as it warms, finishes thin.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Hazy brown-black with a huge frothy head. Aromas of coffee, roast and chocolate. Sweet with roasted malts, dark chocolate and black coffee, some sour notes. Medium-bodied, too fizzy.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks zvsn. Black with a light brown head. Aroma of milk chocolate and ice coffee. Sweetish roasty flavor with chocolate, light bitterness, an acidic touch and some coffee. Medium-bodied, over-carbonated. OK.

12oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Very dark brown, with a steady fluffy dark beige head and many tiny bubbles. Moldy nose, with roasted malts, some milkish notes, faint carobs and earthy hops. Soft flavors of coffee, dark malts, medium bitterness, some sweetness and faint yogurt notes. Medium bodied, a bit thin in flavor, too lively and overall not that great.

[5324-20130430] Tap. Mild grainy roasted malt and woody embers aroma. Black brown body with a medium-lasting creamy tan head. Woodsy grain roasted malt flavour has a bit of a fruity lactose thing going on in the finish. Medium-full body. Good. (7/4/7/4/14) 3.6

Very dark in the glass, nice intense roasted nose. The beer starts very intense roasted, smooth and malty. The mainpart is intense, roasted and malty. Dry and even dusty. The aftertaste is roasted, dry and slightly bitter. Great and highly drinkable stout! 13/12/12/13

Bottle from ed5388 in 5.2 local swap. Aroma of several things including baked bread and roasted malts. Not a huge fan of this style but this is better than Mose lactose starts early in taste with malt and much carbonation. No chocolate for me. Maybe coffee? Thx Ed!

Poured dark with a smallish head. Notes burnt malts and chocolate. I like the sweetness as it is not overpowering. Enjoyed this one.
