Apr 10, 2009 Medium brown. No real head. The nose is fairly chocolatey, a bit fudgey. Pretty straightforward chocolatey character. The sweetness comes out as it warms.

Aug 27, 2006 (12oz bottle) Medium brown head atop black body. Aroma is medium sweet, coffee, oatmeal, some cocoa. Taste is medium sweet, chocolate, some grape, light lactic. Creamy medium body, low acidity, nicely drinkable.

Feb 18, 2007 Courtesy of Coldbrewky. This is my very first Milk Stout, so I had absolutely no idea what it would be like. The color is black/brown, the head is golden, creamy and nice. The aroma has a slight milky sourness and so does the flavour, but it’s not unpleasant and doesn’t feel like an infected beer. I also get notes of chocolate and cocoa and a bit of coffee. The overall impression is a rather weak stout, but it was very nice to experience a typical Milk stout, thank you Steve. 1892

Feb 25, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a dark brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma of roastiness, lactose, cocoa, and oatmeal. Flavor of roasted malt, coffee, semi-bitter chocolate, and some caramel with a dry finish.

Nov 19, 2007 Bottle sampled on 9/16/07: Pours a mostly opaque with dark mahogany edges and a frothy, wispy-lacing light tan head. Aroma of sweet dark chocolate caramel with some lightly roasted notes. Body starts sweet and dark chocolatey with good malted milk flavor and a smooth, full body. Nicely-balanced, enjoyable and unique. A great sweet stout.
