Commercial Description:
Mother’s Milk, as the name implies, is a dark and creamy milk stout. Hints of oatmeal, chocolate and of course, milk make Mother’s Milk’s remarkably smooth and silky finish a classic example of the style.

Dark black, roasty and coffee aroma. Full, roast and coffee satisfying drink. Milk, some chocolate in finish. And I do not order coffee any longer. Very good stout in all respects. Thanks to the recommendation of the owner of Cable Beverages.

Bottle (12oz). Opaque brown-black with a huge fluffy light brown lasting head. Light, soft creamy-chocolate aroma, somewhat floral, grainy - nice, not too sweet. The taste is fairly dry, a little lemony, very light on the roast, probably more light coffee than chocolate to it. Thin body, slightly acidic, mild carbonation, a slightly sour linger ... smells good, otherwise a tad weak.

Pours a nice midnight black with a modest head and some lace. Aroma is lightly roasty with hints of chocolate and lactose (similar aroma to lots of sweet stouts). Flavor is dry and roasty, low on the caramel malts, wierd lactose sweetness, some chocolate malt and a lightly acrid finish. Moderately smooth. Nice stout overall.

Bottle (12oz). Pours dark brown with red hues and an average size frothy tan head. Dry aroma of roasted malt, a hint of smoke, some coffee and eggshells (!). Flavour is dry and roasty along with a touch of sourness, a hint of green hops and a bit of coffee. Some lactic notes as well and a roasty bitter finish. Average bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. A decent Stout.

Pours black with hints of red coming through with the light. Average size darker tan creamy head that left some nice lacing. Aroma of coffee grinds, cocoa, roasted malts, some vanilla. Was starting to pick up some coffee with cream and light sugar as this warmed. Flavor was more of the roasted malts, the coffee grinds, dark chocolate and lactose.
