Growler from the test batch that was also available on tap at Keegan. The head brewer brought the growler to Half-Time and a bunch of us shared it with him. Wheat beer brewed with buckwheat honey. Interesting stuff, and yet another clever name. Pours a just hazy orange amber with a medium sized white head that falls off quickly. Honey, vanilla, and a floral almost lavender note, but not overpowering. A little wheat and vanilla. A touch earthy and a little thinner than I’d like, but the growler may have a bit to do with that. Finishes up with a light hop bitterness. Very smooth and drinkable.
