On tap at the brewery, poured into a cheater pint glass. I can not believe I have not reviewed this beer before since I live so close to the brewery.
A: straw yellow in color, small white head reduces to a light cap
S: neutral nose, slight malt and flowery hop
T: pretty much what a blond should be, does have slight tannin
M: light bodied, good mouth

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slight sweet malty aroma, almost a lemon hoppy character over a crisp lager like beer. No foot funk of lager though. Bit of a banana nutty yeasty flavor with a crisp lemon like maltiness. For a lighter beer this has some good body and flavor. Has an odd dry almost slightly soapy finish. Not a bad beer. Nothing I would seek out but is flavorful for a light beer.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft, 8 August 2015 at BCTC, Ommegang Brewery. Murky gold color, some head in the sample glass. Aroma is sweet grain, mild fruit and traces of a unknown hop variety.
Flavor will not throw you a curve ball, just as the aroma leads to to believe. Lighter body with a sweet grain/ corn finish. No off flavors and no problems. Just an ordinary blond ale, easy drinking.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy bronzed yellow to orange color. A decent transparency runs about. Carbonation runs upward at a moderate pace. A slim fingered foamy head sits for about a minute before dissipating adequately.
The smell starts off with sweet apricot and a mildly sweet lemon combines over some light malt. There’s a light crisp refreshing grassiness there as well.
The taste is mainly sweet through the fruity notes mentioned earlier. Light grassy hops balance in a slight bitter fashion. The light apricots come back in the aftertaste and leave a grassy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionable aspect to it. Carbonation runs fairly light on the tongue and leaves a semi-crisp yet smooth malty feature running over my tongue.
Overall, for a blonde/golden ale, this is definitely one of the better ones on the market. Definitely makes the haters of the style reconsider their thoughts on the style.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle pour. Fizzed over on opening. Clean straw gold in class with very active head. Aroma is apricot, sweet, honey-esque grains. Body in thin. Taste has some light caramel, dried apricots. Some lemon candy. A weird, metallic aftertaste.

Yellow pour with creamy off white head and lace. Aroma is light malt and floral hops. Flavor mirrors aroma with an ok bitter finish. Medium bodied and a tad fizzy for me. Still pretty solid.

Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a light golden color with a small pure white head. The head fades relatively fast to leave very little lacing.
Smell – Some breadiness with hints of caramel and a very light corn aroma.
Taste – A shot of malt and corn are present up front. These are lightly sweetened by some caramel and sugary sweetness. As the taste advances the sweetness fades and at the end leaves a slightly dry flavor on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – Lighter bodied with a slightly above level of carbonation. It is suited for the taste and style, but nothing too fantastic.
Overall – Not a lot of flavor and rather subtle characteristics overall. Pretty average and somewhat boring.
