Straw yellow, medium, stable and creamy head. Grassy, floral and hoppy smell - nice! At first bitter, then a bit more malty with nice hoppy notes (noble german hops). Dry and long lasting finish.

Very Grassy fresh hay nose. Very grassy, bitter mouth with tons of hay. Dry. Über well balanced. What you dream German pils are like. Fantastic. Big bitter finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Gravity unfiltered at GBBF 2013. Probably the top beer of the festival in my opinion. Clear pale amber, medium white head. Nose is fresh cut grass, dry straw, matured hay, cereal malt, crisp lager yeast. Taste is straw, tangy cut grass, cereal malt, lightly sweetish honey. It’s soft and only slightly dry on the palate. Light, effervescent and highly drinkable. Beautiful beer.

Gravity at GBBF 2013. Golden colour, solid white head. Very tasty beer, quite a soft mouthfeel, not so much of the north German aggressive mouth drying bitterness, more malty but still with a pleasant bitter hop finish. No extreme taste sensations, just really nice beer. Could drink lots of this.

Gravity cask at GBBF 2013. Pours a light gold colour. Pleasant honey, light malt aroma. Light body. Medium carbonation. Crisp, refreshing - lemony bitterness alongside some honey sweetness. Good.

0.5l bottle. Clear pale golden body, thin white head. Bread, honey and floral hops in both the aroma and taste. Malty first but the finish is hoppy. Very refreshing. I like it.

Ok, that’s a normal german pils. But what a pils! Clear, crispy, refreshing. Drinking it in the Keesmann biergarten in Bamberg is a must-do experience.

Drank on tap at Keesman and various other places including bottle samples. This, in my opinion, is one of the rare beers that shows hardly a difference between tap and bottled product. Its a fresh clean tasting pils herbal, grassy with a lovely malt profile. Very easy to drink and very well balanced.
