Golden yellow in colour this had a malty grain aroma. This was quite thin flavoured although fairly dry on the palate. Not as good as the mighty Jever pilsner.

Fully clear pale yellow; white, slim, but stable head. Nose of old rye-bread, yeast, mannah (?). Estery (unidenifyable) taste, bakery-yeasty. Hopbitter retronasal. Light bodied (more as Vollbier than Pilsener), but not thinnish - OK. Strange but nice. The ester is no off-taste.

pale, slightly green - am i the only one who keeps thinking pilseners are green? softly malty, grainy, and not that bitter, but balanced and pretty trinkbar. typical bavarian pils.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2009 Straw colour with a thick, rocky head. Slightly herbal, almost woody hop nose. Very dry character. The hops have a pee-like accent and a slight fruitiness. The malts are a shade harsh and a little biscuity.
