On tap @ Cafe Abseits. Appears a very pale yellow with a nice tight lofty head. Smell is floral hops and light malt. Taste is a nice blend of crisp hops, touch of citrus, then some dryness balanced by a slight malt sweetness. Light body with fine active carbonation.

On tap @ In De Wildeman on a warm Thursday night. Crystal clear golden color. Snow white dense head, leaving nice lace rings. Aroma’s of sweet malt, some fruit, a bit grain, mild. Flavor is light bitter with some malty sweetness. Light bodied. Finishes with a nice bitterness. Clean, tasty, excellent German pilsner.

Pours pale clear yellow, with bright white, quickly fading, head.
Smells like a spring meadow (without the manure) - floral and herby. Clean, fresh taste, with grassy herb flavour and a mildly dry, bitter finish.

Poured a light amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malt and grassy hops. Medium to light body, flavour as the aroma with a bitter/sweet end.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2013 Tap @ Café Abseits, Bamberg 01/02/13 Pours a clear golden yellow with a large, white head. Aroma is light malts, grain, bread, grass. Taste is grainy, grassy, lots of lemon. Palate is light.

50cl draft at Cafe Abseits, Bamberg. - Mild, yet crisp and sufficiently hopped standard pilsner that goes down very smoothly, but else is somewhat unspectacular.

Bottled. Golden color, nice white fluffy head. Aroma is malty, grass and some bread hints. Flavor is hoppy, nice bitterness. Mouthfeel is bitter and at end a slight sweetness appears, but the bitterness is more present.

Hellgelbes Pils mit verhaltener Schaumbildung. Leicht grasig-hopfiges Aroma. Im Antrunk leicht mit trockenem Körper. Die feine Malznote ist nicht dominant, sondern wird vom hopfig herbem Abgang verdrängt. Ein gut trinkbares Pils, das wohlbekömmlich und aromatisch ist. Das grün gehaltene Etikett ist jedoch mehr als bieder und verbesserungswürdig. Ordentliches Herren Pils aus Bamberg!
