UPDATED: NOV 28, 2005 On draught at the Brauereigasthof: Dark golden coloured, stable mid-sized white head; honey and hops in the nose; rich malty-sweetish flavour; long, dry, fine hoppy aromatic aftertaste; well balanced, warming and absolutely not sticky or cloying; well, well, well !

Rather light, empty and somewhat stale aroma with sweetish malt and some honey. Flavour is metallic with some sweetish honey and hints of solvent‐like, stinging alcohol. Too sweet and too strong on savors.

Pours clear golden color with head. Aroma of toffee notes, mild grass, malts, caramel, flour, bread and some clove. Flavor of caramel malts, toffee notes, butter, some hints of syrup and mild honey. Quite oily texture, sweet and caramelly palate.

Bottle @ Bierzwerg. Pours clear golden with a small off white head. Lots of grain, bread and hay. Fruity. Medium bodied. Smooth with a pleasant bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with small macropore white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma, a sweet note that comes near to strawberry, minimal spicy note. Sweet malty taste, rather light, fresh hop note in the end. Not too heavy - drinkable.

Poured a medium head, pale amber colour, clear. Slightly boozy smell. Balanced sweet malty taste with hints of grass. Nice on the palate. Overall good drinkable beer but more Märzen than Bock

(draught) pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of toasted marshmallow and sweet spices, with lots of grass and a hint of green apple. flavour is mostly the same, with some dominant notes of buttered popcorn and a light hint of white pepper in the finish. quite full-bodied with soft carbonation.

Mäßig würziger Antrunk, süß, malziger Unterton. Im Vordegrund steht hier wie auch im Mittelteil ein Getreideton, der sich mit der Würze verbindet, auch die Malzigkeit wird so etwas hervorgehoben, scheint aber darin ausfzugehen und ist so als eigenständiges Aroma kaum noch zu erkennen. Weiter getreidig, insgesamt milder werdend, hintergründig wie anfangs leicht würzig, im Abgang ist das Malz auch wieder deutlicher erkennbar, süß. Ein eher mildes Bockbier. Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is hop, fruit, grain. Flavour is hop, malt, fruit, grain. OK/Nice beer.

Bottle. Dark golden beer with a syrupy looking feel and a reasonable head. The aroma is gently malty, and the flavour is malty, gently roasted and bitter. Overall a very drinkable malty and mildly bitter beer.
