Draught at Hagges Bärsklubb, Nynäshamn, Sweden. Hazy pale golden. Grassy, dry and strikingly hoppy. The rich maltiness and full body is hardly noticed under the rich blanket of aromatic and bitter hops. Long, very bitter finish. Another excellent Franconian bock!

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2005 On draught at the Brauereigasthof: Dark golden coloured, stable mid-sized white head; honey and hops in the nose; rich malty-sweetish flavour; long, dry, fine hoppy aromatic aftertaste; well balanced, warming and absolutely not sticky or cloying; well, well, well !

A bit of a gusher. Pours a clear yellow with a hint of gold and an off-white head. The smell is bread, grass, some fruit, mild light caramel - smells great. The taste is bread, hay, light caramel ending dry with grassy hops. The body is medium and a bit slick with very nice subtle carbonation.

Moravius (1124) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 1, 2014

Corpo medio. Buona

Bottle, courtesy of Gerhard Schoolmann of Café Abseits in Bamberg. Gold, thin white head and moderate condition. Sweet sticky maltiness in the nose, solid sweet spicy malt and balanced earthy hops in the mouth, lingering grainy sweet finish with a gentle hop bitterness and a touch of alcohol warmth.

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A clear one, golden in color and with a decent, off-white head. Fruity nose with a grainy touch. Pleasant hoppyness. Nice bitterness in the mouth, both initially and in the end. Full body, smooth and with a nice level of carbonation. Fruity finish with some malts and the already mentioned bitterness. Drinks easy, tastes nice and it’s definitely a beer I could have more of. 110218
