Man rating cider is hard. It either tastes like Magner’s or it tastes like Strongbow. This tastes more like Magners. The nose smells like apples. It tastes like fresh frigging cider. The finish has a bit of tartness to it so it should session nicely. This is the drink that America was built on.

Bottle consumed at Otto’s Pub & Brewery. Pours a clear light yellow. Aroma of sweet, syrupy apple. Flavor of sweet, sugary apple with a tart dryness as well. Overall this reminded me more of an ice cider than a regular cider based on its sweetness. It was very enjoyable! 7/4/8/4/15 [3.8/5]

From bottle, at Otto’s. Sweet apple juice and cider aroma, very fruity and nice nose. Clear pale yellow - like white grape juice, no head. Medium body with high carbonation. Starts tart-sweet, tons of apple flavor with crisp notes, acidic bite and residual sugars. Finish is clean and refreshing with fruity sweet after.

Pours clear very pale gold with minimal head. Nose is tart apple, some earthy notes. Tastes sweeter than the semi-dry (DUH), with perhaos some more earthy notes and some honey flavors. Solid, and II agree that the semi-sweet/semi-dry dichotomy with this cider does directly translate somewhat to the same argument as applied to chardonnays, or any wien for that matter. Bottom line, good for your girlfriend, but you need to nut up and grab an Old Fugget.

On tap at Zeno’s Pub - State College, PA. Pours a stunningly clear pale golden, with a thin white head. Cold, sweet apple flesh. Flavor has noticeably more sugar than the dry and it’s kind of boozy and horsey. It’s not funky, it’s kind of wild and floral. There’s pungent musky flowers, a bit of cooked apple, and some vague spice. I appreciate the added unique complexity, but the sugars make it a wee bit less palatable to me. The flavor profile is very interesting. Not like any cider or beverage I’ve had before. Lots of nuances.
