Clear golden beer, with lots of acid in the body. Rocky head with big bubbles. The initial aroma and flavour are a lot pilsner-like, but after a while, this beer becomes a lot more interesting: fruity, alcohol, herbs, ...

bottled, magnum, about 4 years old, thanks to fiulijn for sharing it - slightly hazy golden colour with a big creamy head, aroma of cellar, cork and old apple, good malt body with a solid bitterness, the finish is quite dry with reminiscence of old apple - very pleasant and deeply impressive

Draft: Tap handle said Keizersberg Abbey 8, also assuming this is it - Yellow, cloudy, large white head, lacing - overly sweet aroma of sugar and honey, flavors were similar, honey, sticky sugar, yeast, some citrus, some spicyness and possibly banana. However, a slightly unpleasant cloying and alcoholic finish. OK beer

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2005 draft: tap handle said Keizersberg abbey 8, i assume this is it...It poured a slithly hazed yellow color with a frothy white lacey head..the aroma had honey, straw, guava, and cream...the flavors had herbal straw, pineapple core, coconut and guava..with growing hay flavors...nice summertime beer with a slight yeasty, bubble-gum-like background
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ungstrup (26476) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2004
A clear amber beer until You pour the yeast, which turns it unclear - it has an OK head. The flavor is sweet yeasty. The flavor is dominated by yeast but also contains notes of sweet malt and grapefruit. This is way too yeasty for my liking.
