Lovely Piraat-like beer. Strong and lasting palate, beautifull head. Strong aroma Complex taste. Litlle sour/soft bitter. Very good brew.

Draft. Clear golden color, medium white head. Aroma of caramel and light spice. Taste is sweet, hi carbonation.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Malt and light yeast aroma. Malt and light caramel flavor with light yeast. Medium bodied. Malt and light caramel lingers with light yeast, spice, and light mineral notes.

(33cl bottle, BB 28/01/12) Pours a clear yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of earth, yeast, and alcohol. Flavor of earth, minerals, yeast, alcohol, and light fruitiness.

Bottle at home. Clear golden pour, thick foamy white head. Aroma is spicy, peppery, dusty, slightly metallic and a bit chemical. Flavor is sweet spicy, fruity, somewhat alcoholic and a bit chemical. Slightly rough and with some strange side notes, but overall not that bad either.

Pours a bright golden yellow color. Active carbonation throughout the session. Aromas of hops, fruit, and a little yeast. Has a light fruity citrus taste, with some yeasty notes

Bottle @ home, shared with DutchDrebus. Hazy golden color. Smell malts, sweetness and honey. Taste sweet, not much more. Also too much carbo that dominates the taste.

A good tripel. Taste and smell were good, to bad the very bubbly mouthfeel ruins the experience a bit.

330ml bottle with the burger (downstairs) at Bier Central. Unclear, golden body. Film-type layer. Malted wheat and fruits to the nose. Fresh fruity flavour along with honey sweetness and a lighter touch of spices. Notes of yeast beneath. Smooth and dry bittersweet ending. Integrated alcohol. Likable (Antwerpen, 29.04.2011).

5 Corny aroma. Some odd mushroominess.
3 Gold, brief spongy head.
5 SImple malty body, slightly tangy, and a bit chemical. Alcohol noticeable too, as well as the other odd volatiles.
3 Some toffee butterscotch finish. Decent bitter tingle, but lacking in whole green hop.
11 Sub-par. Alcohol stands out too much. NOt a total disaster, but compared to the excellent Halve Maans we just had this is black and white.
