Sampled draught on Belgrade Beer Fest2004. -I finally found anything about this brewery on the net so now I can rate it, hazy yellow coloured with huge creamy head, this was the only good fact abouth this beer, now bad facts- very strange and unpleasant yeasty-herbal aroma like caramel cardboarb, extremely sour finish

From tap at Kej yachting klub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and light cornish. Vague butterish. Bitter and light cornish to grassy finish.

18/08 Accompanied by luttonm and Marko, had this draught at one of their boats at Usce, just by the Beer Fest. Probably they’re too elite to join it. Anyway, it had slightly hazy deep golden body with no head. Weird honey and stale malt sweetish aroma. Flavor was sweet, similar, cornflakes, chestnut, completely all malt, reminding to some NA beers a bit. Fine buttery note carries the quality though, all the way through the finish. Medium bodied, oily and very low carbonation. Reading the old ratings I must note it was completely different beer, as this had no any hops. I didn’t like it as my two mates did, I’m not quite fan of all malt stuff.

Draft at Kej’s floating restaurant-club, cool Belgrade location. Darker golden orange. thin, dead head. Sour egg, lactic grain nose. Alt-malt, smooth. Undercarbonated, sour brown. Reminds of amber beers, nutty-brown. or nut cherrios. Pretty interesting and nice.

Draft at the boat on the Ušće that might be the brewpub. Might.
This poured a lovely misty golden body with a small white head. Lactic, grainy malty aroma. Different from most Serbian beers, true. Buttery sweetish malty taste, full, but ending slightly acidic - might be that the turnover isn’t great. Still, this is well worth trying while you’re in Belgrade. Even better, it was 2 minutes walk from the BBF and better than most beers served there (and more expensive).

Draft at brewpub. I found this to be an above par pilsener for Belgrade. Actually had two. Nice unfiltered flavor and no weird taste. Things must be improving.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2008 Draught at a Belgrade restaurant. Very nice appearance but contains some strange and unpleasant citric acid-like, sour aromas.

On draught at a Zemun (Belgrade neighborhood) restaurant. Logo’d 1/2 liter mug held the dense and hazy straw-colored brew. Very pronounced diacytl (butterscotch) aroma, unfortunately carried into the flavor and dominated the slightly sweet pilsner malt flavor. Could have been a bad batch.
