UPDATED: AUG 18, 2007 Cask gravity at Battersea BF 2007. Gold/copper colour with thick off white head. I’m guessing that this has some wheat in it. Good aroma of cereal. Reasonable fullness in mouth. Good mouthfeel, nice cereal. Decent finish. A "fresh" tasting beer. 3.2/5.0
Re-rate Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Lovely fresh citrus hop aroma. Lovely peach/apricot aroma. Good condition, quite impressed with this. Nice astringent hop on finish. Nice sherbert.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
1 pint cask, Thompsons. Golden colour with notes of copper. A slight haze can be seen. Small creamy and bubbly off-white head. Gentle crisp malty aroma. Nice sharp biterness that cuts through the malts in the finish. The aftertaste is drying from the hops. Soft texture balanced by hop bitterness. Delicious ale, and very drinkable.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale gold colour. Herbaceous hoppy aroma - nettles and gooseberry leaves. A touch spicy. Citric, grapefruity flavour. Some spicy notes. Dry finish, perhaps a little short. Crisp and clean. Just as a golden ale should be. An impressive beer. Cask (gravity dispense), Battersea Beer festival 2005.
