Tasted this in The Esquire House, Glasgow in January 2006. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale straw in colour with a thin white creamy head. Strong tropical fruit salad aroma, long in intensity. Creamy refreshing mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a strong fruit base of lychees, mango, pineapple and honeydew melon. Strong floral notes from the powerful smack of hop resins combine well with the malt. Finish is dry and robust with warming melon liquour notes rich in the mouth. A superb Golden ale, very easy to drink as a session - beware and highly recommended.
