Sour, but OK. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Sep 1, 2004 Cask@GBBF04. Quite a nice dark ale in the Scottish style. Peaty, lightly smoky, with a touch of sweet caramel and dark fruit. Soft, smooth, malty mouthfeel, likeable. harrisoni (5359), Ashford, Kent, England Dec 4, 2006 Cask handpump, Market Porter. Ruby colour, thin beige head. Some dark fruit, bit ashey on finish. Some damson fruit flavour, some choc. It’s ok, lacks some depth and mouthfeel, but the fruit is fine. Hildigöltur (5056), København Ø, Denmark Mar 3, 2004 [Cask conditioned] Brown coloured.
