Cask pours an opalescent light gold ale with a small white head. Aroma, hay, some hops. Taste, mild hops, malt and a gentle bitter. Pleasantly undemanding, I’d opt for a but more character but fine enough.

Pint on handpump, Railway Tavern, Lower Largo. Slightly hazy gold, thin white head. Well hopped, noticable both on the nose and palate. Clean and refreshing beer, well balanced malt. Nice!

Cask at the Waiting Room. Toffee, cornflakes and lemon - a bit too heavy handed on the malt side to be particularly refreshing or to go back for a second pint.

Cask, half pint as a partner to my breakfast at Standing Order. White tophead resting for a while on the top of an unclear, pale golden body. Good amount of lacing. Mild grassy hops and grainy malts to the nose. Fresh fruity taste together with earthy malts, mid-sweet. Smooth bitter end. Ordinary for the style (Edinburgh 09.08.2013).
