Clear orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, nettles, moderate hoppy, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (060808)

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2005] A hazy orange beer with a light orange head. The aroma is very hoppy, even with notes of the alfa acid. The flavor is sweet hoppy, but also with notes of earth, caramel, and nuts, leading to a dry bitter finish.

From cask. Pours clear and golden golden orange with a minimal yet dense head. White. Mlid malty a vague spiced hopy aroma. Flavoured is smooth malty with a light bitterness coming through. Light malty and fruity finish. Nice one yet simple.

Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, small white bubbly head. Flavour and aroma are both nectar, wood, some hops and mild notes of nettles and yeast. Grassy finish.

Cask at Blackfriars, Glasgow. Amber colour. Salty and fruity, grassy and yeasty with ashy notes. Caramelly malt provides medium body. Fairly well hopped. Salty finish.

Cask at GBBF08. Good bready aroma. Clear copper colour, small stable white head. OK fruity flavour, slightly rough. Medium bitterness.

Cloudy amber with medium white head. Sweet fruity aroma with caramel and hoppy notes. Flavor likewise with a bitter end.

Golden-amber. Caramel, earth and light butter on the nose. Light caramel taste. Vague toastiness. Pretty uneventful beer.

Cask handpull at Blackfriars, Glasgow. Copper, lasting beige head. Lovely IPA hop aroma, good American style grapefruit hop. Really good hops, but the malts are a little poor.
