Flowery hops, dry and refreshing. Rather light, this would be fine for summer drinking in vast quantities!

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Rune (5025) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 30, 2012
Half, cask before noon at Edward Wylie (JDW). Solid lacework from a low white head. Deep and clear golden body. Distant aroma of floral hops. Lemony hops and semi-sweet malts to the taste buds. Bitter endnotes. Easy going (Glasgow, 13.04.2012).
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 tombyars (1102) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - FEB 2, 2012
Tasted this in the Bull Inn, Paisley in September 2006. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale straw in colour with a thin white head. Strong citric notes in the nose with grapefruit evident. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a strong citric fruit base of kiwi and pink grapefruit - not as intense as Carte Blanche though. Strong hop resins impart a earthy dusty flavours to the aftertaste. Finish is refreshing with fruity malt still evident. A decent summer session Golden Ale.

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a blonde colour with a fair white head. Aroma is a little fruity with caramel, barley and yeast. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and a little dry finish. Just OK with lingering yeast and grassy hops.

Cask at Malt and hops. Looks almost watery clear. Light gold like Aspall but without the fizz. Tastes of stale hops. pretty poor really. Maybe the pub is to blame becaue previous comments contradict.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Oakes (10202) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 6, 2010
@ Blackfriars, cask. Light golden amber. Herbal character - probably saaz. Body is soft, cask-like. Malts are basic, maybe a bit grassy. Hops are soft and herbal, aromatic, but without much bitterness. I like it bitter - I would view this as a golden bitter rather than anything Czech in inspiration.
