UPDATED: SEP 16, 2007 Aroma is very fresh and citrusy, with some grassyness going on aswell. Taste is similar quite bitter and dry in the mouth, good session beer for this hot summer! Rerate: Cask Backfriers, excellent excellent session ale. Citrus character eveywhere you look, subtle and rediculusly easy to drink.

Cask conditioned at The Market Porter, Borough, London. Pale gold with white head. What a really nice surprise, expecting a British lager crossover, this was really hoppy and fresh. fragrantly hopped, crisp with hints of peach and elderflower. Really very pleasant.

Cask at the Blackfriars, Glasgow. Flowery hops, dry and refreshing. Rather light, this would be fine for summer drinking in vast quantities!
