Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
Named after a local blacksmiths, this beer is complex in character as is fitting for a championship winning ale. Red Smiddy is a smooth, dry ale with a unique spicy aroma and flavour. Its reddish hue, warm glow and tight head gives it a presence that makes it stand out against its competitors

Cask at the Toby Jug, Glasgow. Sweet, round, a bit nutty. Fruits and berries, a playful beer. One is enough, though.

Cask@The Cask and Barrel, Edinburgh. Hazy bronze with a decent head. Good fruity nose. Hints of citrus flavours. Light body. Supposedly award-winning, but not in my opinion.
