A subtle blend of German malts infused with a mighty whack of US whole hops which combine to produce a red tinted beer which flows freely just like the Regnitz river in Bamberg.

Cask at Cloisters. Pours clear copper, thin white head. Aromas of toffee and red fruit. Taste is sweet, more fruits. Finishes a bit sweet for me too. OK.

(draught) pours a hazy deep amber colour with a frothy light beige head. aroma of brown sugar and grass, with a hint of roasted malts, some light smoked ham, dark fruit and powdered sugar. flavour is oranges, mango and light popcorn, with some caramel, brown sugar and a light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask by hand-pump at State Bar, Glasgow - clear deep golden amber, good white head, resinous grapefruit aroma, poor lacing, grapefruit with a strong and significant malty base, dry hoppy finish
