Cask at GBBF. Clear light amber beer. Dry palate. Light crisp malt and a vague hint of hop. Dull, dull, dull!

Bottle from Asda Scunthorpe. Deep gold, thin but lasting white head and gentle condition. Slightly sweet in the nose with hints of caramel and biscuits, more caramel sweetness in the mouth and a developing hop bitterness beginning to tingle, short sweet finish.

On cask at The Congress, Longton, Staffs. Excellent amber coloured beer, very smooth with citrus aftertaste and very easy to drink. One of the best beers I’ve drunk in a while.

Bottle. Golden and clear with some bitterness. Theres also a gentle fruitiness.Well bottled and quite pleasant.

Amber-gold body. Diminishing white head. Sweet malts mixed with fruits to the nose. Taste of dried fruits with notes of apricot. Jam-like profile. Herbal, dry hopped ending. Half pint, gravity dispense at the 36th Steel City Beer Festival, Sheffield 2 Oct 10.

Lys gyldenbrun. Lavt luftig skum. Tung fruktig aroma. Lett på smak med en anelse frukt. Tørr fruktig ettersmak.

(Cask at Carpenter’s Arms, Marble Arch, London, 6 Aug 2010) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity nose with orange, apricots and marmalade. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange, apricots, biscuity malt and slightly dusty hops in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Well balanced and tasty.

Cask at GBBF 2010. Pours a pale golden colour, aroma is very citrus, with a light fruity taste which leads to a dry bitter finish.

A Sim rate (cask at the Cask): Bitter hops but not too much in the aroma. Bitter again in the flavour. Malty, wheaty and slightly hoppy. Quick hoppy finish. Ok, but not great.
