(Cask at Market Porter, Borough, London, 31 July) Colour is dark amber, almost mahogany, with small head. Nose is malty and nutty, with notes of dried fruit (apricots, prunes). Taste starts malty, then turns fruity with dried fruit (prunes) and canned peaches. Starts sweets but turns drier in the finish, with a slightly dusty hoppiness. Interesting and fairly ok.

A mid to dark brown coloured beer with a weak, off white coloured head. A light, malty nose with a hint of zesty hop. The taste is dry, nutty and malty, a little syrupy, followed by an even drier hoppy finish. (Cask - @ The Fox & Hounds Summer Beer Festival 2006, Heacham, Norfolk).
