Cask handpump at The Bell, Banbury, Oxon, 22-03-10 Banbury Beer Festival Meeting. Pours mid gold with a thin white head. Another beer where the aroma like of all these festival beers has become a little blunted, (they’ve been on now for 3-4 days) but once again the condition and appearance is still very good as is the temperature. Tangy, fruity beer that suffered a little for following the Elland Amnesia but after a while it started to show itself, nice furry bitterness, the fruitiness is showing a little more, in fact this is jolly nice stuff. Cask conditioned at Far from the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Pale gold with white head. This beer delivers a decent body for such a pale colour, quite sweet and fruity, blackberry, plus a lemon type hop. Lovely condition, pretty good.

Gravity cask at the Pembury Tavern, London during festival, on 10th March 2010. Pale gold with very little white head. Just a tad below ideal temp. Very hoppy, slight fruity notes (berries) and a bitter aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel.
