Pours with sponge-like head and that golden colour you know has been created by just too much syrup. Aroma is of corn-soda-sprite and a slight hint of alcohol. Taste is all heavy syrup, malt and wood. Very bitter finish. Another "strong lager" that you need to hold your nose while drinking.

Die Schaumkrone hält nicht gut. Geschmacklich ist es malzig-alkoholisch jedoch durch die milde trinkbar. Im Nachgeschmack wird es süßer. Fazit: Für ein Französisches Starkbier Trinkbar. Test vom 2.8.2009, Gebinde: Dose Noten: 7,8,8,7,8,8 - 7,75

Can 50cl, a golden beer with low head and carbonation. Aroma is sweet, grainy, malty and even with toasted notes, caramel, nutty, wet paper notes, dusty hops, ok for cheap beer.

Can at Papsø. Clear golden coloured with a meidum sized white head. Malty aroma of fruits and caramel. Sweet and malty flavour of caramel with notes of hops. Sweet finish.

50 cL can. Pours clear and golden orange to yellow with a small white head. Aroma is cereal, cornish and malty. Slight alcohol note. Sweet malty, metallic and roasted finish.

Clear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, hay, toasted, grain, light yeasty.
