Tap @ Bistro 7th IPA Festival (August 7, 2004). A dark golden amber color with an off-white head. The brewer said this beer was simco and cascade dry hopped and laid to rest in a port barrel. I enjoyed it on cask at the festival at close to room temperature. The port element comes through fantastically well and is a wonderful compliment to the hops in the IPA style. It cuts through the hops but supports it well. Rose pedals, oak, cherry, and malt flavors with warming alcohol. A fantastic beer.
